Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SETTRA handles personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL). SETTRA is run by Natig Rashidli in Dubai, who is responsible for your data. Contact: info@settra.ae.

1. What I collect

Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message you write.

Chat assistant: the messages you type. They are sent to an AI service to generate a reply and are not saved in my database. Please do not share passport numbers, payment details or other sensitive data in the chat.

WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to send me, handled in those apps.

Analytics and ads cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads): only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you reject, Google receives no cookie-based data.

2. Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for (your request and consent)
• To measure website visits and adverts, only with your consent
• To meet legal obligations

3. Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a secure cloud database run by my hosting provider, with access limited to me. Servers may be located outside the UAE; where this happens, data is transferred with the safeguards the PDPL requires. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.

4. Sharing

I do not sell your data. I share it only with service providers who help run this website (hosting, AI chat, analytics if you accept), with partners you ask me to coordinate with, or where the law requires.

5. Cookies

Essential storage remembers your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

6. Your rights and deletion requests

Under the PDPL you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. To request deletion, email info@settra.ae with the subject "Data deletion request" and the email or phone number you used. I will confirm and act on it within 30 days.

7. AI-powered tools

The Move Planner uses Anthropic's Claude and the website chat assistant uses Google's Gemini to generate responses. Information you enter is sent to the AI provider solely to produce your response. I do not store your Move Planner answers or generated plans. For rate limiting, a one-way hashed version of your IP address is kept for up to 24 hours. Please do not enter passport numbers, financial details, or other sensitive personal information into these tools. If you share your name and phone number in the chat, they are stored securely and used only to contact you about your enquiry.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, database access is restricted, and the database only allows new enquiries to be submitted — not read — by the public.
